Our Story

La Vaquerita Creamery was born from a dream, a lot of late nights, and a deep love for family, culture, and community.

What started as an idea around the kitchen table grew into a vision: to create a place where traditional Mexican flavors meet a Texas twist — all made with intention, quality ingredients, and corazón. Growing up, desserts weren’t just treats; they were moments. Shared paletas on hot afternoons, homemade flavors passed down through generations, and memories made one bite at a time.

La Vaquerita Creamery is proudly farm-to-cone. We believe in knowing where our ingredients come from, supporting local farmers, and making our ice cream & popsicles in-house — from our ice creams and sorbets to our paletas and signature creations. Every recipe is carefully crafted, inspired by Mexican tradition and elevated with Texas creativity.

But La Vaquerita is more than ice cream.

It’s a place where kids run in excited, families gather after games, and neighbors become regulars. It’s where culture is celebrated, stories are shared, and everyone is welcome. Our mascots, colors, and playful spirit reflect what we stand for: joy, authenticity, and community.

This creamery is built on hard work, faith, and the belief that dreams are worth chasing — even when they’re scary. We are proud to be locally owned, woman-owned, and community-driven.
